Zydex Elastobar Waterproofing Chemicals we offer are the waterproofing chemicals, which are easy to apply and bestow an enduring solution for protecting several structures from damage caused by water. The chemicals have outstanding adhesion to dissimilar surfaces and are apt to be used for both new constructions as well as renovations. Zydex Elastobar Waterproofing Chemicals are made to provide protection and waterproofing for assorted surfaces, such as concrete, metal and masonry. These are made by using advanced polymer technology and provide superior performance even in adverse environmental conditions.

An acrylic co-polymer emulsion, used to form on-site seamless, crosslinked elastometric membrane on the concrete. The polymer composition ensures excellent UV stability, high strength and elongation of up to 250%. Elastobar is a high performance elastomeric membrane for crack bridging. It features curing through crosslinking and is highly UV durable. It features ability to elongate upto 250 percent. It can be used on variety of substrates either alone or as a mortar mix with sand and cement.

Application Area

Roof Terrace, Sunkens, Balconies & Utilities, Podiums, Water Tanks and STP (Sewage Treatment Plants), Basements, Retaining Walls, Water Reservoirs etc.

Application Method

Surface Preparation

Clean the surface and remove all dust, foreign matters, loose material or any deposits of contamination which could affect the bond between the surface and Elastobar coating. The surface cleaning can be done by wire brush, air blower, grinder, high pressure water spray, sand blasting followed with air blowing or water wash.
Smoothen the horizontal / vertical concrete surface.
